Set Visible Layers

Set the visibility of layers in the drawing.

This function allows you to quickly set the visibility of layers in a drawing.

The current layer cannot be made invisible.

Procedure

1. The Set Visible Layers window displays. The visible layers are highlighted.

2. Click on a layer in the list to highlight it as visible.

• Hold down [Shift] and click to highlight a range of layers.

• Hold down [Ctrl] and click to add multiple individual layers to the current set of selected layers.

2. To view only the current layer, click Current Only.

3. To view all the layers, click All to highlight all layers as visible.

4. To set a layer as the current layer:

Select the layer and then click Set Current.

The Set Current Layer window displays with the current layer highlighted in blue with red text.

Click on the layer you would like to be the current layer and then click OK to return to the Set Visible Layers window.

5. Click OK to accept the current set of visible layers i.e. the highlighted layers; or click Cancel to close the Visible Layers option without making any changes to the layer visibility. If you click OK, the drawing is redrawn showing only the entities on the visible layers.
