Named View from Selection

Create a named view from the selected entities.

This function allows you to create a named view from the extents of the current selection.

Procedure

To define a named viewport from selected entities:

1. Select the entities by clicking on them, or dragging a selection box around the required entities.

2. Select View ► Viewports ► Named Viewport from Selection or click the icon in the Misc toolbar.

3. You are prompted to:

4. Type in the new name and press [Enter]. The Viewport is added to the drawing. If you view the Named Viewports Manager you see all the added viewports.

5. Select the viewport and click Show to view the viewport.
