Settings

This function allows you to manage the Multiline Styles in the drawing by adding, removing or editing existing multiline styles.

You can add up to ten lines to a multiline entity.

The last multiline style, as well as multiline styles that are referenced by multilines in the drawing, cannot be removed.

Procedure

The Multiline Styles window displays.

Add a New Style

  1. Click Add.

  2. Enter a unique name for the new multiline style and click OK. The new name cannot include spaces, so use an underscore instead.

  1. The new name is verified for uniqueness. If the name is already in use, the following Error message displays. Click OK and re-enter a new name.

  1. The new multiline style displays in the multiline styles list and it's settings are copied from the previous selected multiline style.

Add a New Line to the Multiline

  1. Right-click in the Offset column and select Add Line from the popup menu.

  1. The new line is added to the list and the sample is updated when you click in a column.

Change the Pen Colour

  1. Right-click the line whose colour you want to change in the Pen column.  

  2. The Colour Selection window displays.

  3. Select the colour you require and click OK.

  1. The colours change, as shown below.

Change the Line Style

  1. Select the line name. A dropdown list displays.

  2. Click the down arrow to view the line styles available in the list. In this example, select the CENTER line style.

  1. The sample is updated to show the changes.

Change the Line Width

The line width can be selected in the same way as the Line Style (see step above).

Close Off the Ends

 To close off the ends of the CAVITY_WALL multiline, select the Seal ends checkbox.

Existing Styles

Edit a Multiline Style

  1. Select the style from the list.  

  2. The settings for the selected multiline display in the Settings section.  

  3. Edit the settings as required, and then click OK to accept your changes.

Remove a Multiline Style

  1. Select the style from the list.

  2. Click Remove.

  3. Confirm the deletion of the multiline style. Click Yes if you are sure you want to delete the style, or No to return to the styles.  

The changes only take effect once you click OK and close the Multiline Style Editor. If you click Cancel, all the changes are discarded.
