Close

Close the current drawing.

This function allows you to close the current active drawing. When complete, the next drawing, if any, is displayed. If you close the last opened drawing, the displayed toolbars and open windows also close.

If you have multiple drawings open, make sure the drawing you want to close is the active (current) drawing. The Title Bar for the window containing the current drawing is displayed in a different colour to that of the other drawing windows.

When the last open drawing is closed, the displayed toolbars and open windows - the Properties Bar, Control Centre Bar and Output Bar - are also closed. The menu then displays only a subset of the available commands. Opening or creating a new drawing re-displays the toolbars, the windows that were open previously, and the full menu.

Procedure

1.  If the drawing has been modified, you are asked if you want to save it.

2. Click Yes to save the drawing; No to discard the drawing; or Cancel to keep the drawing open.
