Diameter Points

Draw a circle by specifying two points on the circle circumference or by the diameter.

Jumps

This function allows you to draw a circle by entering the first point on the circumference and then indicating a second point on the opposite side of the circle.

The distance between the two indicated points determines the diameter.

Procedure

  1. You are prompted to:

Indicate first point on circle

  1. Click in the drawing to indicate the first point on the circumference.

  2. You are prompted to:

Indicate second point on circle

  1. The circle is drawn on the screen with the cursor positioned on the circle. As the cursor moves, the circle increases or decreases in diameter.

  1. Position the cursor over the desired diameter point and click or press [Enter]. The function repeats.

You could also use the Coordinate jump to draw between two specified coordinates; or the Polar placement to move a set distance at a specified angle. Alternatively, you can use the [Up], [Down], [Left] and [Right] keys to draw the circle to a set diameter.

  1. Right-click on the screen and select Quit to end the function. Alternatively, press [Esc].
