Indicate Join Points

Connect points by indicating them onscreen.

This function allows you to join points by indicating the points to join onscreen.

This function will only work if the drawing coordinate system is set to "Survey".

Procedure

  1. In the Survey Toolkit menu, select COGO Points ► Join Points ► COGO Points.

  2. You are asked if you want to add survey dimensions or just lines. Click Yes to add survey dimensions; or No to add lines only.

  1. You are prompted to:

Select first coordinate point

  1. Select the COGO point in the drawing. A line from the indicated point is attached to your cursor.

  1. You are prompted to:

Select next coordinate point

  1.  Now select the COGO point in the drawing. A line is drawn between the two points. If you clicked Yes in the dialog above, the dimension displays on the inserted line.

  1. A line is still attached to your cursor so you can select another COGO point to join to.
