Toolkit General

This function allows you to draw a line through consecutive points that are centred between two indicated points.

Procedure

  1. Select Toolkit General and select the Draw Centred Line option.

  2. You are asked if you want to activate Point Snap mode.

  1. Click Yes to use Point Snap mode, or No to use Freehand mode.

  2. You are prompted to:

Indicate first point (Escape to exit)

  1. Click somewhere on the drawing.
  1. You are prompted to:

Indicate second point (Escape to exit)

  1. Click somewhere in the drawing. The start of the line will be halfway between the pair of points you have specified.
  1. Now indicate two more points and a line will be drawn from the start point above, to the centrepoint between the second pair of points you specified.

  2. You can now indicate another pair of points and another line will be drawn from the end of the last line to the centrepoint between this pair of points.

  3. The function loops, allowing you to draw as many centrelines as required. Press [Esc] to exit.
